When a donation is made through your donation hub, a donor has the option to indicate if they want to make their donation in honor of someone. A donor has two options to choose from for notifying the honoree or an individual associated with the honoree. If a donor selects to notify an honoree or an individual associated with the honoree, they can be notified either by email or physical mail. Honoree notifications are configured within the Correspondence area of CRM. A donor can also elect not to send a notification at all.
When a donor elects for their honoree to be notified via email, the honoree will receive an automatic email.
