Tasks Overview

The task functionality enables your organization to create, edit, and manage tasks. Tasks can be used with profiles and opportunities.

Manage Task Notifications

Task notification emails are managed on the Configurations page. Task notifications are useful for reminding other users to complete a task.

Profile Tasks

Profile tasks could include updating an address or creating a reminder to call a profile. You can create a task from a profile, the Tasks page, or add a profile to an existing task.

Opportunity Tasks

Opportunity tasks could include sending out a reminder email about an upcoming opportunity or setting up an upcoming payment reminder. You can create a task from an opportunity, the Tasks page, or add an opportunity to an existing task.

Grant Opportunity Tasks 

Utilizing tasks and applying tasks notifications is not a requirement for grant opportunities; however, this can be very helpful in keeping track of information pertaining to grants to which your organization applies.
