This article outlines how to create requests and groups within a campaign.
Groups
You can create groups within a campaign to assign registrants to specific groups such as table assignments, rooms, or golf teams. Groups are internal only, and are not visible to registrants during online registration. A registrant can only be assigned to one group. You can add as many Groups as needed for each Campaign.
- Navigate to a Campaign.
- Click Add Group on the left-side menu.
- Enter the name of the group in the Name field under Create Campaign Group, then click Create.
- If you want to change the sort order from A-Z, enter a Sort Order for the group.
- If you want to change the sort order from A-Z, enter a Sort Order for the group.
Requests
If you need to provide options for a registrant to select during online registration, such as a food preference or t-shirt size, you can create requests. Requests will appear on the online registration page. Registrants can select their requests. The requests will appear in a multi-select menu, so if you only want them to select one make sure they are mutually exclusive. You can add as many requests as needed for each Campaign.
- Navigate to a Campaign.
- Click Add Request on the left-side menu.
- Enter the name of the request in the Name field under Create Campaign Request, then click Create.
- If you want to change the sort order from A-Z, enter a Sort Order for the request.
- If you want to change the sort order from A-Z, enter a Sort Order for the request.
Add Registrants to Groups/Requests
There are two ways to add registrants to groups and requests.
Add To Group/Request From Group/Request
- Navigate to a Campaign.
- Click on a Group or Request ID.
- Click Edit Guests on the left-side menu.
- Check the boxes next to the names you'd like to assign to that group/request, then click Update Guests.
- The Campaign Guests list will include everyone that is marked RVSP Yes, and members of households whose household is also on the list. Use the RSVP column to guide who has RSVP'd Yes.
- Anyone that has been assigned to another group will not appear on this list, but since guests can be assigned to multiple requests they will appear under each request.
Add To Group/Request From Name
- Navigate to a Campaign.
- Click on a Name that has Yes in the RSVP column.
- Click the Guest Name.
- Click Edit Group/Request in the left-side menu.
- Select a Group option from the Group drop-down, check the box next to the appropriate Guest Request, then click Save.
