Profiles and expenses can be exported from your Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) site and imported into your NonprofitCore site.
Import Profiles
Export Profiles from GLM

Build a data set to include all relevant profile information.
- Include the following when selecting pre-filters:
- Processes that will capture the correct applicants.
- The Approved, Follow Up(s) Assigned, and Closed request statuses.
- Select the following data fields:
- Organization Name
- Organization Address 1
- Organization Address 2
- Organization City
- Organization State
- Organization Postal Code
- Organization Country
- Organization Tax ID
- Contact Email
- Contact Phone
- Select One row per Request as the data set output.
- Include the following when selecting pre-filters:
- Run and save a report using the data set.
- Export the report as a .csv file.
- In the .csv file, add a column labeled "Type" and enter "Organization" in each row of the column.
- Confirm that data is entered into each cell in the .csv file.
- Save the .csv file with the name "Profile Import".
Import Profiles into NonprofitCore

Import the "Profile Import" file.
- Ensure that GLM fields map to NonprofitCore fields as follows:
- Map Organization Name to Name.
- Map Organization Address 1 to Address Line 11.
- Map Organization Address 2 to Address Line 21.
- Map Organization City to City 1.
- Map Organization State to State 1.
- Map Organization Postal Code to Postal Code 1.
- Map Organization Country to Country 1.
- Map Organization Tax ID to Tax ID.
- Map Contact Email to Email Address 1.
- Map Contact Phone to Phone Number 1.
- Map Type to Type.
- Ensure that GLM fields map to NonprofitCore fields as follows:
- After completing the import, navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click All Profiles.
- Ensure that the import successfully added the profiles.
Import Expenses
Export Expenses from GLM

Build a data set to include all relevant expenses information.
- Include the following when selecting pre-filters:
- Processes that will capture the correct requests.
- The Approved, Follow Up(s) Assigned, and Closed request statuses.
- Select the following data fields:
- Organization Name
- Contact Email
- Process Name
- Project Name
- Decision Date
- Installment Amount
- Installment Due Date
- Installment ID
- Installment Number

Combine the Project Name and Installment Number fields.
- Use "Invoice Number" as the Name.
- Use a colon as the Separator.
- Select One row per Installment as the data set output.
- Include the following when selecting pre-filters:
- Run and save a report using the data set.
- Export the report as a .csv file.
- Make the following edits in the .csv file:
- Add a column labeled "Payable Account" and enter the payable account number in each row.
- Add a column labeled "Account Number" and enter the credit (expense) account number in each row.
- Add a column labeled "Service Name" and enter the service name in each row.
- Services must be an exact match with existing services in your NonprofitCore site and are case-sensitive.
- If any expenses are for regrants, add a column labeled "Opportunity Name" and enter the name of the grant opportunity in each applicable row.
- Grant opportunities must be an exact match with existing grant opportunities in your NonprofitCore site and are case-sensitive.
- Grant opportunities must be an exact match with existing grant opportunities in your NonprofitCore site and are case-sensitive.
- Save the .csv file with the name "Expense Import".
Import Expenses into NonprofitCore

Import the "Expense Import" file.
- Ensure that GLM fields map to NonprofitCore fields as follows:
- Map Organization Name to Name.
- Map Contact Email to Email.
- Map Process Name to Description.
- Map Decision Date to Date.
- Map Installment Amount to Amount.
- Map Installment Due Date to Due Date.
- Map Installment ID to Record ID.
- Map Invoice Number to Invoice Number.
- Map Payable Account to Payable Account Number.
- Map Account Number to Account Number.
- Map Service Name to Service Name.
- Map Opportunity Name to Opportunity Name if this column was added to the .csv file.
- Ensure that GLM fields map to NonprofitCore fields as follows:
- After completing the import, navigate to Accounting and click Expenses on the navigation bar.
- Ensure that the import successfully added the expenses.

Expenses will not appear on an organization's profile or in reporting until they are posted.
