Revenue refers to funds incoming to your organization. Revenue categories in the system include Donation, In-Kind Donation, Program Fees, Grant, Event, Dues, and Other.
Add Revenue
When adding revenue to the system, it can be assigned to an opportunity. This allows for accurate reporting on development strategies. Revenue can also be added directly from the relevant grant opportunity. Additional items can be tracked on a revenue entry, including if donation revenue was made in honor of an individual, if the revenue has restrictions, and if the revenue is nondeductible. Revenue can also be imported into the system using Foundant's import tool.
Revenue Actions
Multiple actions can be performed on revenue entries from the Revenue page. This includes posting, unposting, viewing, editing, and deleting revenue. Donation acknowledgements can also be sent for revenue from the Revenue page.

Receivable Revenue and Remittance
Revenue that has not yet been received by the organization can be marked as receivable. Receivable revenue might be created if your organization provided a service, was awarded a grant, or received a future donation commitment but has not yet received the money. Invoices and statements can be created for profiles for which receivable revenue is posted in the system. When payment is received, it can be entered as revenue and applied as remittance towards the open receivable.
