Profile lists allow your nonprofit to manage groups of profiles within your system by reviewing members, sending communications, and managing the lists.
Create a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click Create List.
- Enter the applicable Create New Profile List information, and then click Save New List.
- Attaching an opportunity to a list is optional, and it may be removed at any time.
- Attaching an opportunity to a list is optional, and it may be removed at any time.
Profile List Actions
There are a number of available actions that can be performed on profile lists in CRM. The available actions include the following:
- Communicate with a profile list.
- Edit a profile list.
- Remove members from a list.
- Copy a profile list.
- Archive a profile list.
- Configure columns in a profile list.
- Add a profile list to an opportunity.
Members can be added to a profile list. Profile Actions provides additional guidance.
Communicate with a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the list name.
- Check the box next to the profile with whom you want to communicate.
- Check the box near the Name column heading to communicate with all profiles on the list.
- The number in the green circle indicates the number of profiles selected.
- Click the Actions drop-down menu, and then click Communicate.
- Enter the applicable Send Email information, and then click Send.
Edit a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the name of the profile list you want to edit.
- Click the Actions drop-down menu, and then click Edit Profile List Details.
- Make any updates to the Title, Description, and/or Associated Opportunity, and then click Save.
Remove Members From a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the list name.
- Check the box next to the profiles you want to remove from the list.
- Click the Actions drop-down menu, and then click Remove Profiles.
Copy a Profile List
If a profile list is copied and has an opportunity attached, the newly created profile list will be attached to the same opportunity. The opportunity can be removed from the list once it has been created.
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the name of the profile list you want to copy.
- Click the Actions drop-down menu, and then click Copy List.
- Name the list, and then click Save.
Inactivate a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the profile list Status toggle to make a profile list inactive.
Add a Profile List to an Opportunity
Profile lists can be added to an opportunity in different locations within your site.
From a Profile List
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click Profile Lists.
- Click the list name.
- Click the Actions drop-down menu, and then click Edit Profile List Details.
- Select an opportunity from the Associated Opportunity drop-down menu, and then click Save.
From an Opportunity
- Navigate to Fundraising and click Grant Management on the navigation bar, and then click Opportunities.
- Click the opportunity name.
- Click the Attach Profiles drop-down list in the Profiles card and search for and select the list name.
- Once all lists are selected, click Add.
