Tasks can be associated with profiles. Tasks could include updating an address or creating a reminder to call a profile.
Add a Task
Add a Task from a Profile

- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Profiles on the navigation bar, and then click All Profiles.
- Click the profile to which you want to add a task.
- Click Add on the profile's Tasks card.
- Enter the applicable Create Task information, and then click Create.
- Label and Due Date are required fields.
- Label - The name given to the task.
- Due Date - This is the date the task needs to be complete.
- Assignee - To whom this task will be assigned.
- Task Type - System defined options to better classify tasks. Task type options include Call, Report, Meeting, Deadline, General, Email, and Mail.
- Details - Any additional information the assignee needs to know can be added here.

Files - Files that may be related to the task can be attached by dragging and dropping the file or by clicking Choose Files and navigating the File Explorer.
- Label and Due Date are required fields.
Add a Task from the Tasks Page
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Tasks on the navigation bar, and then click Tasks.
- Click Add Task.
- Follow step 5 instructions from above to add task details.
Add a Profile to the Task
A profile can be added to the label record on the Task page.
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Tasks on the navigation bar, and then click Tasks.
- Click the task Label.
- In the Profiles area, enter the profile name in the Search field and select the profile from the drop-down list.
- A task added using this process can be found on the profile's Tasks card.
- Click the calendar icon to download a calendar .ics file that can be used to add the task to your Outlook calendar. Refer to Add and import calendars for detailed guidance.

View and Edit a Task
View and Edit a Task from the Tasks Page
- Navigate to CRM.
- Click Tasks on the navigation bar, and then click Tasks.

- Click a column header to filter by that column.
- Click the Calendar tab to view your tasks using a calendar view.

- Click the task Label.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the task, and then click Save.
- Change the progress of the task by selecting an option from the Progress drop-down menu.
- Progress options are To Do, In Progress, and Completed.

View and Edit a Task from a Profile
- Navigate to the profile where the task is located.
- Click the task on the Tasks card.
- Click Inactive to view or edit tasks that have been inactivated.
- Click Inactive to view or edit tasks that have been inactivated.
- Follow steps 4-5 from the above section to edit the task.
