Once revenue has been added using the step-by-step instructions in Revenue, there are different actions you can perform on your revenue entries.
- Edit a revenue entry.
- Post and Unpost a revenue entry.
- Copy a revenue entry.
- Delete a revenue entry.
- View a revenue entry.
Historical revenue entries that are included in a revenue import cannot be edited, posted, or unposted.
Edit a Revenue Entry
Revenue transactions that have been posted cannot be edited. In order to edit a revenue entry, the entry must be unposted first.
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click the pencil icon next to the revenue entry you want to edit.
- Update the applicable Edit Revenue information, and then click Save.
Post and Unpost a Revenue Entry
Post Revenue
Once revenue has been posted, it cannot be edited or deleted.
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click Post next to the desired revenue entry.
- When a revenue entry is posted, a journal entry is created.
- When a revenue entry is posted, a journal entry is created.

- To post multiple revenue entries, check the box next to each revenue entry, and then click Post Entries. (The number of revenue entries selected will be shown within the Post Entries button.)
- Up to 250 revenue entries can be posted at once.
- When a revenue entry that has already been posted is selected, the Post Entries button will be grayed out.
- To post multiple revenue entries, check the box next to each revenue entry, and then click Post Entries. (The number of revenue entries selected will be shown within the Post Entries button.)
Posted revenue entries will have the Unpost button displayed in the Actions column.
Unpost Revenue
Once revenue is unposted, it can be edited or deleted.
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click Unpost next to the desired revenue entry.
- When a revenue entry is unposted, the journal entry will be deleted.
- When a revenue entry is unposted, the journal entry will be deleted.
Unposted revenue entries will have the Post button displayed within the Actions column.
Copy a Revenue Entry
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click the copy icon for the revenue you want to copy.
- Revenue categorized as remittance cannot be copied.
- Revenue categorized as remittance cannot be copied.
- Enter the applicable information, and then click Save.
- The new revenue will be unposted and undeposited, even if the original revenue was posted.
- All fields in the revenue entry copy can be edited.
Delete a Revenue Entry
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click the trash can icon for the revenue entry you want to delete.
- Posted revenue cannot be deleted.
- Posted revenue cannot be deleted.
- Click Delete to confirm the action.
View a Revenue Entry
- Navigate to Accounting.
- Click Revenue on the navigation bar, and then click Revenue.
- Click the eye icon next to the desire revenue entry.
- Unposted revenue cannot be viewed.
- Unposted revenue cannot be viewed.
