For each grant opportunity, you can create one or more budgets to plan for revenue and expenses.
An Opportunity Budget to Actuals report can be run, displaying the budgeted versus actual amounts and variance.
Add an Opportunity Budget
- Navigate to Reports and click Budget Set Up on the navigation bar.
- Alternatively, navigate to a grant opportunity, click More, and then click Opportunity Budgets.
- Click Add Opportunity Budget.
- Enter the applicable Create Opportunity Budget information, and then click Save. In-system asterisks indicate required fields.
- Opportunity Budget Name
- Opportunity - A budget can only be associated with one opportunity.
- Start Date
- End Date
- Hide Accounts with No Budget - Check the box to hide revenue and expense accounts without information entered in the Budget Amount field.

- Press Shift + Enter to create a new line of text within the field.

View, Edit, or Delete an Opportunity Budget
- Navigate to Reports and click Budget Set Up on the navigation bar.
- Alternatively, navigate to a grant opportunity, click More, and then click Opportunity Budgets.
- Click the applicable Actions icon next to the opportunity budget in the list.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the opportunity budget.
- Click the trash can icon to delete the opportunity budget.
- Click the eye icon to view the opportunity budget.
- Alternatively, click the Name of the budget to view it.
- The option to print the budget is available when viewing it.
