Funder Search

1. Enter the applicable Funder Search information, and then click Search. Asterisks indicate a required field.
   
   

At the bottom of the first 25 search results, click View Next 25 Results to see additional results.

Click a funder in the search results to view details on the funder and grants they have funded.

• Click Learn More to open the funder's profile in Candid's Foundation Directory.
  
  
• Click a grant recipient to open details on the recipient, including additional funding they have received.
  
  

1. Click the funder in the search results.
   
   
2. Click Add Funder.
   
   

Click View Funder to open the funder's profile in a new browser tab where edits can be made.

Save a Search

1. Enter the applicable Funder Search information, and then click + Save Search. Asterisks indicate a required field.
   
   
2. Enter the Search Name, and then click Save.
   
   

Manage Saved Searches

1. Click + Save Search.
   
   
2. Choose from the available options.
   
   • Click Load next to a saved search to load the search criteria.
   • Click Update next to a saved search to update its criteria to those currently configured on the page.
   • Click Remove next to a saved search to delete the saved search criteria.
     
     
     

Whenever a search is performed, a funder is clicked in the search results, or a recipient is explored, a call will be made to retrieve the most up-to-date information if it is not already included in the cached results. 

• If the exact search criteria is already included in the cached results, no call will be made. 
• Each site is allocated 4000 calls within the contract year.
  • After reaching this limit, calls will refresh back to 4000 one year after site creation.
