GrantHub includes a few tools to aid in the researching of new opportunities. In the 'Resources' area, you are able to easily access the 990’s of potential funders you are interested in by using the 990 Finder tab. You are also able to see who has funded other organizations by using the 'Who Funded this Organization' tab. With this feature - you can type in a nonprofit’s name or EIN, and GrantHub will return a list of funders who have given to this organization in the past. By doing this, you may find some funders that you may want to research and apply to yourself. You can then easily import those funders into your GrantHub funder list.
Your GrantHub subscription also includes full membership access to GrantStation.com. To access GrantStation.com within your GrantHub account, click on ‘Resources’, and select the GrantStation tab. Once you are on the GrantStation tab, click the GrantStation logo to open another tab on your browser and begin searching for grantmakers.
NOTE: Access to GrantStation.com is only available for GrantHub customers. If you are still in your trial period, you will not see the GrantStation tab under Resources unless you purchase GrantHub.
If you are looking for other solutions for receiving notifications when new grant opportunities become available, we would recommend looking into a separate standalone GrantStation subscription, or accessing Foundation Directory Online (FDO) from Candid. Both databases are often provided at no cost at your local library. Also many state or regional Nonprofit Associations also publish regional lists of grant opportunities in their monthly newsletters. Some of the state and regional nonprofit associations are listed here: https://www.councilofnonprofits.org/state-association
