If you entered a donation that was paid via check, you can change the destination fund.
- Navigate to Donations from the Home page.
- Click the donation ID Number.
- Click Change Fund from the left-side menu.
- Select a new Fund from the drop-down list, then click Update.
All changes will be recorded in the donation log (accessible through the left-side menu), attributed to the employee who made the change with the date, time, and the type of change that was made.
The Change Fund option will not work if there is an admin fee charged to the donation. You will need to unpost, edit, and repost instead.
The Change Fund option will not work for cash donations. To change the fund for a cash donation users will need to record a negative cash donation to reverse the entry. If you try to change the fund for a cash donation you will get this message:
