The Fund Advisor Portal, sometimes known as a donor portal, is a secure web page where fund advisors can view and access a variety of information related to their funds. Access to the fund advisor portal requires fund advisor designation on the relevant profile and at least one fund assigned to them. When that criteria is met, a system administrator provides the fund advisor, via email, a fund advisor portal link and login information. Fund advisors do not have access by default to their fund advisor portals and access to the fund advisor portal can be removed at any time by the system administrator.
Create and Edit Fund Advisor Profile
Before a profile has access to a fund advisor portal, the designation of Fund Advisor must be assigned and at least one fund must also be associated to the profile.
Any notes added to the profile will not be seen by the fund advisor on their fund advisor portal.
Fund Advisor Portal Access
Fund advisors receive a system generated customizable email that includes the url of their fund advisor portal as well as other important information. Some foundations prefer to provide more detailed instructions along with the system-generated email. You can enable multi-factor authentication for additional security measures surrounding your fund advisor portal. Additional fund advisor settings control access to specific information, such as visibility of student names on the Top 10 Scholarships graph.

Fund Advisor Portal View
There are a number of options that can be enabled for fund advisors to see and do on their fund advisor portals. In addition to information about the funds they advise, fund advisors can make and approve grant requests or directly link to your online donation page. Fund advisors can populate requests, review, and submit grant requests individually or in batch. Fund advisors are often granted access to Contributions (donations), Grants, Grant Requests, Grant Catalog, Fund Statements, and Files; however, any customizable configuration is possible. Charts and graphs are available for fund advisors to view providing they have been enabled on the fund. Google translate functionality is also available for fund advisors to utilize when viewing their portal.
Fund Advisor Portal and the Foundation
Activities on fund advisor portals such as grant requests and donations are reflected in the system shortly after they occur. For example, when a fund advisor submits a grant request, the request can be seen in the Request Grant Bucket.
Pending grants in the fund advisor portal will reduce the available cash balance and spendable balance.
