If you don't want to process an internal grant, which is a grant on the giving fund and donation on the receiving fund, then transferring money from one fund to another is accomplished using Interfund Transfer functionality.
- Navigate to the Funds page.
- Enter the fund name in the Search Fund field and select the Fund from the drop-down list.
- You can also click List in the left-side menu to view a list of all funds. Click the ID of the fund that you want to transfer money from.

- In the Assets section of the fund record, click [transfer] in the line of the account balance you want to transfer.
- Click [Switch to Interfund Transfer].
- Enter applicable information and click Transfer.
- To Fund - Fund that the money is being transferred to.
- Transfer Date - Date the transfer will be recorded.
- Description - Details about the interfund tranfer.
- Amount - Amount to be transferred.
A confirmation message confirms the transfer.
No money movement has occurred at your bank-level. The interfund transfer functionality only transfers "ownership" of a certain dollar amount, within one bank account, from one fund to another. It will not show on your bank reconciliation.
