Print and post checks individually or in batch, and generate grant/scholarship letters to send with checks.
Print & Post In Batch
- Click the Approved bucket.
- Click Create Batch in the left-side menu.
- Click the type of checkrun batch that you want to run (All, Vouchers, Grants, or Scholarships).

For the purpose of this tutorial, we've selected All.

- (Optional) Click Edit in the left-side menu.
- (Optional) Change the Batch Name, enter a Description, and if desired, select a Grant Letter Template and/or Scholarship Letter Template if you've uploaded them to the system. If you don't select a Grant Letter Template and/or Scholarship Letter Template, the system default will be used. Select a Check Template if you have the Enable Check Templates setting checked in System Data. If you do not select a Check Template, whichever check template is selected as default will be used.
- Click Save.
- Click Checkrun in the left-side menu.
- Click Print Checks (create PDF) to generate a PDF of the check(s).
- Click Print Grant Letters (pdf) / Print Scholarship Letters (pdf) to generate a PDF of the corresponding grant/scholarship letters, or click Download Grant Letters (Microsoft Word) / Download Scholarship Letters (Microsoft Word) to download your grant/scholarship letters as Word documents.
- Once you've printed all checks and/or grant and scholarship letters, click Confirm and Post Checks.
- Enter the check number of the First Check, and then click Next.
- Confirm that the check numbers are correct, and then click Process.
- The posted checks will now appear in the Posted Checks bucket, and the checkrun batch will move into the Posted Batches bucket.
Print & Post Individually
- Click the Approved bucket.
- Click the CheckID of the check that you want to post.
- Click Print Check in the left-side menu to generate a PDF version of the check that you can download or print.
- The PDF will open in a new screen where you can print and/or download the check.

- If the check is related to a scholarship/grant, and if you've configured a scholarship / grant letter template in System Data; then click Scholarship Letter / Grant Letter in the left-side menu to generate a grant letter for the check.
- Click the desired Print Format Options.
- Scholarship Letter (pdf) / Grant Letter (pdf) will generate a pdf.
- Download Scholarship Letter (Microsoft Word) / Download Grant Letter (Microsoft Word) to download to your computer as a Word document.
- Email to new address will send the letter using the email address in the system.
- Next to Check Number, click [add manually].
- Enter the Check Number, and click Save.
- Click List in the left-side menu to return to the Checks page.
- The posted check will now appear in the Posted Checks bucket.
