Navigation
The Dashboard displays all requests assigned for evaluation and provides access to key areas of the site, including Shared Documents and Requests and Decisions.
After logging on, the Dashboard is the landing page. Click the Home icon to return to this page at any time.
The Dashboard displays the list of grant or scholarship requests assigned for evaluation. Each assigned evaluation displays its status of pending, draft, complete, or closed.
Closed evaluations remain visible on the Dashboard until a site administrator begins entering a decision on the request.
Click a status in the status bar to view only those evaluations. Click the status again to view all assigned evaluations.
The Score column displays the score given to each assigned request. This column is only visible if scoring questions are used on the evaluation form. Scores are calculated by dividing the total points scored by the total points possible for each scoring question that has a response entered.
Click Shared Documents to view any documents shared by the site administrator for reference.
Click Requests & Decisions to access a search page where any grant or scholarship request in the site can be searched.
Click the Project Name for a request in the search results to access the request summary.
If working in a grants management site that uses the eReport Map feature, click eReport Map to view grantmaking activity on an interactive map.
Complete an Evaluation
Complete an Evaluation Step-by-Step Tutorial
Use the tutorial below to walk through the evaluation process step-by-step from the perspective of a board member.
Evaluation Steps
To complete an evaluation in GLM/SLM, log on to the site, locate the assigned evaluation, and fill out and save the evaluation form.
- After logging on to the site, locate the evaluation to be worked on, then click Start, Continue, or Update.
-
This opens the assigned evaluation form for the grant or scholarship request. Several options are available on this page.
Click any of the tabs, such as Documents, to read additional information about the request, applicant, and organization (if applicable), and any comments or documents the administrator has uploaded.
In Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM), applicants' contact information, such as address, email address, and phone number, are hidden from evaluator view.
Click Evaluation Packet to download a PDF of the evaluation form and responses.
Click LOI Packet or Application Packet to download a PDF of the form being evaluated.
Click Document Viewer to view all documents the applicant has uploaded as part of their form responses.
Click the eye icon to view an individual document uploaded by the applicant.
Administrators can disable the ability to download print packets, files uploaded to Documents, or any file included in the form evaluators are assigned to evaluate in site settings.
Click the arrow icon to flip the order of the evaluation form and the application form. In most sites, the evaluation form appears on one side of the screen and the application form on the other.
- Some sites do not use this side-by-side view. In this case, click the tab names to switch between the evaluation form and the form being evaluated.
- Fill out the evaluation form questions.
- Required questions are indicated with an asterisk.
- Depending on the site, there may be a Share icon next to each question. Clicking this icon allows a board member to see other evaluators' responses to the questions.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page when the evaluation is complete. The system saves work for every 100 characters entered or when clicking out of a question; however, the Save button can be used at any time.
The confirmation page displays a message that the evaluation has been saved and gives the option to navigate back to the same evaluation, to the Dashboard, or to the next pending evaluation.
Sign Out
To sign out of the site, follow this step.
- When finished working in the site, click Name in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click Sign Out.
