Set Up Your Fiscal Year and Add Users

1. Complete the Foundant Courses listed below and use the Support Hub articles for reference.

The Fiscal Year Start month is set in your Site Settings.

Set Up Opportunities

1. Configure your Opportunity settings. 
   • This will be the types and statuses for your opportunities. You can always add more, but you must start with at least one for each to set up an opportunity.
2. Set up at least one opportunity. 
   • This will be the campaign to which your donors will donate.
3. Configure the Opportunity Form.
   • Manage opportunity configurations and add specific donation options for the opportunity.
4. Set the default settings for your opportunity.
   • This is where you determine the default revenue account for the opportunity to which the donations will be linked. You can also link the opportunities to a service.

Set Up Your Donation Hub

1. Configure your donation hub.
   • Add opportunities to the hub and configure additional information.
2. Integrate your Square account.
   • Set up an account with Square if you haven't already done so, and determine if you'd like to offer donor-covered fees. If so, set a percentage donors will cover. 
3. Configure your donation acknowledgement email.
4. Enable and preview your donation hub
5. Copy the code snippet for your donation hub and embed into your organization’s website.
