Opportunities are the individual pieces that build the foundation of your organization's fund development strategy. Fundraising and grantseeking opportunities can be created.
Complete the following steps when setting up your opportunities:
- Configure your opportunities.
- Create your opportunities.
- Customize your opportunities.
Configure Your Opportunities
Opportunity configurations include types and statuses. Opportunity types specify the type of opportunity created such as Annual Campaign, Capital Campaign, Program Funds, and Scholarships. Opportunity statues help manage the opportunity process and ensure tasks are being completed on time. Statuses include Final Preparation, Outreach, Application-Draft, and In-Progress.
Create Your Opportunities
Once opportunity configurations have been set, opportunities can be created. Fundraising opportunities help to meet the needs of your fund development strategy and are the only opportunities that can be added to the donation hub. Grantseeking opportunities are grant opportunities for which your nonprofit has applied.
Customize Your Opportunities
Opportunities can be customized based on your organization's needs. Fundraising opportunities have a donation form in which donation options can be managed, additional configurations applied, and custom fields added. The donation hub is a donor facing experience that showcases fundraising opportunities and facilitates online donations from the public.
