Tasks can be associated with opportunities. Tasks could include sending out a reminder email about an upcoming opportunity or setting up an upcoming payment reminder. You can add, edit, and view tasks.
Add a Task
Create a Task from an Opportunity
- Navigate to Fundraising and click Opportunities on the navigation bar.
- Click the opportunity to which you want to add a task.
- Click the Grantseeking tab to find the list of grantseeking opportunities.
- Click the Grantseeking tab to find the list of grantseeking opportunities.
- Click Add on the opportunity's Tasks card.
- Enter the applicable Create Task information, and then click Create Task.
- Label and Due Dates are required fields.
- Label - The name given to the task.
- Due Date - This is the date the task needs to be completed by.
- Assignee - Who this task will be assigned to.
- Details - Any additional information the assignee needs to know can be added here.

Create a Task from the Tasks Page
- Navigate to Fundraising and click Tasks on the navigation bar.
- Click Create.
- Follow step 4 instructions from above to add task details.
Add an Opportunity to the Task
An opportunity can be added to the label record on the Task page.
- On the Tasks tab, click the task label.
- In the Opportunities area, enter the opportunity name in the Search field and select the opportunity from the drop-down list.
A task added using this process can be found on the opportunity's Tasks card.
- Task progress is located next to the task due date.
View and Edit a Task
View and Edit a Task from the Tasks Page
- Navigate to Fundraising and click Tasks on the navigation bar.
- Click a column header to filter tasks.
- Click the Calendar tab to view your tasks using a calendar view.
- Click the task label.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the task, and then click Update.
- Change the progress of the task by selecting a progress option from the drop-down menu.
- Progress options are To Do, In Progress, and Completed.

View and Edit a Task from an Opportunity
- Navigate to the opportunity where the task is located.
- Click the task on the Tasks card.
- Click Inactive to view or edit tasks that have been inactivated.
- Click Inactive to view or edit tasks that have been inactivated.
- Follow steps 3-4 from the above section to edit the task.
