An account is a record of assets, liabilities, expenses, income, and net-assets. Accounts are a critical part of operating your organization as they manage the financial transactions being performed.
Add an Account
- Navigate to Accounting and click Accounts on the navigation bar.
- Click Add Account.
- Enter the applicable Create Account information, and then click Create. Asterisks indicate a required field.
Edit an Account
- Navigate to Accounting and click Accounts on the navigation bar.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Make any necessary changes, and then click Save.
Close or Open an Account
Closing an account deactivates the account and prevents it from being used. Opening an account reactivates the account and allows it to be used again.
- Navigate to Accounting and click Accounts on the navigation bar.
- Click the Close or Open button for the applicable account.
