After syncing a scholarship request from SLM and processing it in CommunitySuite, each payment for the scholarship must have the corresponding installment approved in SLM before the voucher can be created in CommunitySuite.
Installments can be approved in SLM individually or in a batch.
Approve a Single Installment in SLM
- In SLM, navigate to the Award Details tab of the Request Summary page for the scholarship.
- Click the installment you're ready to approve to expand the details.
- Click the toggle to approve the installment.
- Navigate to the scholarship award in CommunitySuite.
- The scholarship can be posted and approved, and the voucher for the installment you just approved in SLM can then be created.
- If the scholarship was already posted and approved, the voucher for the installment you just approved in SLM will automatically be created.
Once the payment is recorded in CommunitySuite, that information will automatically update on the installment in SLM.
Approve Installments in a Batch in SLM
- In SLM, navigate to the Payment Tracking page and perform a search to locate the relevant installments.
- Check the box for each installment that you're ready to approve.
- Click Batch Options, then click Approve Installments.
- Navigate to any of the scholarship awards in CommunitySuite.
- The scholarship can be posted and approved, and the voucher for the installment you just approved in SLM can then be created.
- If the scholarship was already posted and approved, the voucher for the installment you just approved in SLM will automatically be created.
Once the payments are recorded in CommunitySuite, that information will automatically update on the installments in SLM.
