Add an Organization

Organizations in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) store contact and profile information for nonprofits and other entities that apply for grants. Applicants add their organization during registration, but administrators can also add organizations manually or import them directly from Candid.

When to to Add an Organization in GLM

Add an Organization in GLM When:

• An applicant did not complete registration and their organization needs to be added manually by an administrator. 
• An organization's information is available in Candid and can be imported directly to save data entry time.

Add an Organization

To add an organization, navigate to the Organizations page.

1. Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Organizations.
2. Click Actions, and then click Add Organization.
    
3. Complete the applicable fields, and then click Save. Asterisks indicate a required field.
    

Import an Organization from Candid

To import an organization from Candid, navigate to the Organizations page.

1. Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Organizations.
2. Click Actions, and then click Import from Candid.
    
3. Enter search criteria, and then click Search.
   • If the EIN/Tax ID is entered, no other search criteria are necessary.
      
4. Click the plus icon next to the organization you want to import.
    
5. Edit any fields as needed, and then click Save.
