An efficient workflow for entering decisions into Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM)/Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) includes four steps: batch sending denial emails to applicants, batch denying requests, approving awarded requests individually, and batch sending approval emails to awarded applicants. If there are requests in multiple processes that you are not entering decisions on at this time, process filters can be applied to display requests specific to a process.
Step 1: Batch Send Denial Emails
From the Application Complete or the Evaluations Closed workload pages, or the LOI Complete workload page, if applicable, there is the option to batch send denial emails to applicants.
Step 2: Batch Deny Requests
Batch deny requests from the Application Complete, Evaluations Closed, or the LOI Complete workload pages.
Step 3: Approve Awarded Requests
Approving awarded requests has to be done one-by-one to ensure that the correct applicants are receiving the awards. Approve requests, add installments, and assign follow up forms, if applicable, for an applicant that is receiving an award.
Step 4: Batch Send Approved Awards Emails
From the Approvals workload page, batch send approval emails to applicants receiving awards.
