Third party requests allow applicants to request information or documents from external individuals such as recommendation letter writers, supervisors, or references. When an applicant sends a third party request, you will receive an automatic email with a link to access your third party dashboard and complete the request. Any responses and uploaded documents are not visible to the applicant.
User Role: Third party responder (recommendation letter writer, supervisor, reference, or other external individual requested by an applicant).
Complete a Third Party Request When:
- An applicant has requested that you submit a letter of recommendation, upload a document, or provide other information as part of their grant or scholarship application.

Your Third Party Dashboard
The third party dashboard displays all third party requests associated with this foundation. Click any column header to sort the requests on your dashboard. Each column displays the following information:
- The applicant requesting your response.
- The foundation to which the applicant is submitting an application.
- The process, which is the funding opportunity.
- The date the applicant sent the request to you.
The far left column displays the status of each request.
- A red exclamation point indicates that you have not submitted your responses for that request.
- A green checkmark indicates that you have submitted your responses for that request, so no further action is needed.
