When to Customize Confirmation Page Options
Customize the Confirmation page when you need to:
- Customize the failure message for applicants who do not qualify for any opportunities.
- Choose whether or not to show opportunities on the Confirmation page that do not contain supplemental questions.

- Click Tools on the upper navigation bar, and then click Process Manager.
- Click the universe name.
- Click the Eligibility tab.
- Enter or update the Failure Message.
- The system automatically saves the message.
- The system automatically saves the message.
Example Failure Message
An example failure message for applicants is provided to copy and paste. Replace the underlined portions with your relevant foundation information.
- You do not qualify for any scholarships within this universal application. If you think you reached this message in error, please reach out to XXX.
Hide Opportunities with No Supplemental Questions
It is possible to list only the opportunities that contain supplemental questions on the Confirmation page. Opportunities that contain no supplemental questions do not require any further action from the applicant, so hiding them on the Confirmation page allows the applicant to see a list of opportunities that will require additional information. Enabling this setting also hides the opportunities without supplemental questions from their dashboard unless they are approved for any of the opportunities.
- Click Tools on the upper navigation bar, and then click Process Manager.
- Click the universe name.
- Click the Applicant Opportunities tab.
- Check the Hide Opportunities With No Supplemental Questions Until Approval box.
