The Delete Unused Opportunities feature allows administrators to remove opportunities from a universe that have no associated requests. This maintains clean universe organization and prevents applicant confusion from seeing outdated or irrelevant scholarship options.
User Role: Administrator
When to Use Delete Unused Opportunities
Use Delete Unused Opportunities when:
- You need to remove test opportunities created during universe setup
- A scholarship program was cancelled before receiving any applications
- You want to clean up duplicate opportunities that were never activated
- An opportunity needs to be rebuilt from scratch with no request history to preserve
Delete Unused Opportunities
Follow the steps below to delete an unused opportunity.
- Navigate to the Applicant Opportunities tab on a universe.
- Click the trash can icon next to the unused opportunity you want to delete.
- Enter DELETE OPPORTUNITY into the field, and then click OK.
