As an administrator in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM), certain settings can be edited by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right of your screen. Once on the Settings page, click the pencil icon next to the setting to update it.
Foundation Settings for GLM
- Logon Page Message - If set, this message will display to all users who access the site. A custom message can be added to the right side of the Grant Interface logon page to welcome applicants to the online system and provide them with basic instructions.
- Time Zone Identifier - The time zone to use when displaying timestamp values in a site. This value also specifies the time zone abbreviation that will be displayed.
- Email Friendly Name - The Email Friendly Name is the name that appears as the sender on any email sent out of the system. All emails in the system are sent from administrator@grantinterface.com. The Email Friendly Name precedes this system email address.
- Show Decision Status -The number of days after the decision date until the request status, approved or denied, is visible to the applicant. This can be set to 0, making the request status visible to the applicant on the decision date.
- Show Follow Ups with Decision Status - If enabled, assigned follow ups only display on the applicant dashboard once the decision status is visible. The timing is controlled by the Show Decision Status setting. This is a site-wide change.
- Follow Up Submission Logic
- Sequential: Follow up forms are accessible based on due dates, from earliest to latest due date. Once a follow up form is submitted and marked complete, the follow up with the next earliest due date becomes accessible.
- Open: All follow up forms are accessible. The assignee does not need to submit them in a specific order.
- Organization Viewable By Applicant - The View Organization History attribute allows applicants to see all of the requests submitted by any other applicant within their organization. By default, applicants can only see the requests they specifically submitted or requests that have been reassigned to them by the system administrator. This attribute can be enabled so that all users have access to their Organization History or select user by user for those users to have access to their Organization History.
- Automatic Email Bcc Address - Email address to which every non-sensitive email sent from the system will be sent.
- Foundation Center UrlKey - This is the key provided by Foundation Center if you want to enable the eReport map. Contact support@foundant.com if you would like to Get On the Map.
- Show Evaluators Choose Process Button - Option to allow Evaluators to see the Choose Processes button.
- Enable Public Apply Page - Allows anonymous users to visit a public Apply page listing all available public or restricted processes. With the Public Apply Page feature, administrators can give prospective applicants access to a read only view of the Apply page. This allows prospective applicants to review funding opportunities prior to creating an account.
- Administrator Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Administrators.
- Applicant Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Applicants.
- Auditor Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Auditors.
- Board Member Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Board Members.
- Grants Manager Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Grants Managers.
- Evaluator Custom Role Name - Custom Role Name for Evaluators.
- Email History Display Days - This sets the number of days of history to display on load on the Email History page.
- Enable Details link on Applicant Dashboard -Enabling this feature will make a View Details button appear next to the Decision Status. View Details reflects a modified version of the Request Summary page, where applicants can view the Award Details tab which includes installment and payment information.
- Enable Google Translate - Enables Google Translate: Automatic translation of content powered by Google. If applicants, evaluators or other users within the system speak different languages, enable the Google Translate feature to let users translate the site into their own language. This is a site-wide setting and will be visible for all users who log into the site.
- Warn Applicant of Existing Request - Shows a warning to Applicants when they apply if they already have a request in that process.
- User Password Policy - Sets a custom password policy. If no custom policy is set or the custom policy is disabled, then the standard policy will be used. The standard policy is a minimum of 6 characters, which includes upper case, lower case, and special characters. Special characters are !@#$%^*()_.
- Store Process Filter as a User Setting - True or False setting.
- Print Landscape Reports - True or False setting.
- Date Format - Sets Date Format display.
- Time Format - Sets Time Format display.
- Invalid Access Code Warning Message - Warning message shown to applicants on the Apply page if they entered an invalid access code.
- DocuSign - Allows documents to be signed with DocuSign.
- Batch Close All Follow Up Statuses - Allows Batch Close in all Follow Up Statuses.
- Foundant Promotional Pop-up - This is a pop-up message promoting Foundant nonprofit solutions shown to applicants when they submit forms in GLM.
- Applicants will have the option to hide these messages by checking the Hide this message box on the pop-up.

- Form Due Notification Days - Lead time prior to the due date, in number of days, that the form due reminder notification emails will be sent. There is an option to configure an automatic email reminder that will go out to any user who is assigned a qualification, LOI, application, or follow up form, but has not yet submitted them. This email reminds the user that the due date is approaching. Note that this is a site-wide change and will affect all form due reminder notifications of this type.
- Form Past Due Notification Days - The number of days after the due date that the form past due notification emails will be sent. There is an option to configure an automatic email reminder that will go out to any user who is assigned a qualification, LOI, application, or follow up form, but has not yet submitted them. This email reminds the user that the due date is past. Note that this is a site-wide change and will affect all form past due notifications of this type.
- Applicant Organization Invite - True allows applicants to invite other users to join their organization. False requires Administrators to add other users to an organization.
