In order to attach a file to an email, the file must first be uploaded into the system.
Upload a File
- Click Communications on the upper navigation bar, and then click Email Attachments.
- Click Upload a File.
- Navigate to the file and upload it from your computer.
- The file is displayed on the Email Attachments page.
- The file is displayed on the Email Attachments page.
Attach a File to an Email
- Click the Attachments drop-down at the bottom of the Send Email page, and then check the box of the attachment that will be sent.
Delete an Email Attachment
If an email attachment is not being used on an email template, the email attachment can be deleted. If the attachment was sent in an email, it can still be downloaded and viewed from the Email History page.
- Click Communications in the navigation bar, and then click Email Templates.
- Click the Template Name that has the attachments.
- Uncheck the box next to the attachments being removed from the template, and then click Update Email Template.
- Click Communications in the navigation bar, and then click Email Attachments.
- Click the trash can icon next to the attachments to be deleted.
View a Deleted Email Attachment
The attachments can be viewed and downloaded in Email History even if the attachment has been deleted.
- Click Communications in the navigation bar, and then click Email History.
- Click on the Subject of the email, and then click on the name of the attachment to view and download the attachments that have been deleted.
