The Email History page in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) and Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) displays the delivery status and content of emails sent from your site. Administrators can filter email history by date, recipient, status, template, and subject line to track communication activity across requests and organizations.

Use the Email History Page to:
- View the delivery status of emails sent from your site, including whether an email was delivered, opened, bounced, or marked as spam.
- Filter email history by date range, recipient, template, subject line, or status to locate specific communications.
- View the content of a sent email or resend an email directly from the page.
Email History Page
To access the Email History page, click Communications on the upper navigation bar, and then click Email History.
By default, the Email History page shows emails sent within the last 90 days. To view emails sent in a different timeframe, change the dates in the Date Sent column, then click Apply.
Email History Display Setting
To change the default number of days displayed on the Email History page, edit the Email History Display Days setting on the Site Settings page.

Click the gear icon.

Click the pencil icon on the Email History Display Days setting.

Edit the number of days, then click Save.
Filter Columns on the Email History Page
To filter the Email History page by column, click into a column search field and begin typing. Columns can be filtered by the date the email was sent, the status of the email, the email recipient, email template, email subject line, and who sent the email.

Click into the column search field, then enter an applicable filter.
Click Clear Filters to clear all filters applied.
Select the status checkboxes to search for emails with one or more delivery statuses. Search results are limited to the date range set in the Date Sent filter.
The descriptions of each status are below.
- Sent - The email was sent from the system to the email provider.
- Processed - The email was received and handled at the email delivery provider.
- Dropped - No delivery attempt was made. Several reasons can contribute to this, such as spam content or an unsubscribed recipient.
- Deferred - A delivery attempt was made, but was not successful. The provider will retry for 72 hours.
- Delivered - The email was accepted by the recipient's email server. This does not guarantee that it was placed into the recipient's inbox.
- Open - The email was received and the recipient opened it from their inbox.
- Error - A system error occurred when sending the email.
- Bounce - The email failed to reach the recipient's inbox.
- Clicked - The recipient actively clicked on an embedded link, button, or call-to-action within the email.
- MarkAsSpam - The email recipient has taken action to report the email as spam or move the email to a junk folder.
Actions on the Email History Page
Several actions are available on the Email History page.
Click the Status icon to view the status history for an email.
Click the Subject of the email to view the email's content.
Click the Envelope icon to resend the email.
