For each follow up form in a process, you have the option to configure two automatic reminder emails.
- A reminder to the assignee before the follow up due date.
- By default, this automatic email is sent 14 days before the due date.
- By default, this automatic email is sent 14 days before the due date.
- A reminder to the assignee after the follow up due date.
- By default, this automatic email is sent 1 day after the due date.
- By default, this automatic email is sent 1 day after the due date.
If configured, these emails will only send to assignees who have not already submitted the follow up form.
There is an option to change the number of days before and after the due date for these notification emails to be sent; however, the time in which they are sent cannot be chosen. Automatic follow up reminder emails begin to send at 2:00 am on the selected date and continue until the email queue is complete. This is a site-wide setting, so this will be in effect for all follow up forms in all processes where these automatic emails are configured.
To change the number of days before and after the due date for these notifications to send, follow the steps below.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the site to access the Site Settings page.
- Click the Foundation Settings drop-down menu and click the pencil icon next to either the Follow Up Notification Days setting to adjust the reminder email before the due date, or the Follow Up Notification Past Due Days setting to adjust the reminder email after the due date.
- Edit the number of days, and then click OK.
