Use Positive Pay Export to create a report showing all checks that have been cut and sent out during a particular time period. The system will generate a text (.txt) file that can be forwarded to your financial or banking institution. Positive Pay Export allows you to transmit a list of issued checks to the bank each day as needed and can include checks that have been voided or canceled.
Generate a Positive Pay Export
- Navigate to the Checks page and click the Account for which you want to generate the positive pay export.
- Click PositivePay Export in the left-side menu.
- Select the Start and End Date, and then click Export.
- Any date range, including one day, can be used.
- Check the Include Voided Checks box to include voided or canceled checks.
A TXT file will download to your computer with a default name that encompasses the start and end dates chosen. The TXT file will display a list of checks in a single string that contains the data listed below.
- Date
- Check Number
- Description
- Grantee/Vendor
- Amount
