A due date can be set for the application and follow up forms within a universe.
The start and end dates of the universe on the Summary tab control applicants' ability to start a new request. The due date set for the application refers to the final date that applicants can submit their application form. Universal Application: Extend Deadline contains instructions on adjusting form due dates or deadline types.

- Turning this on will restrict applicants from submitting the form after the deadline has passed.
A hard deadline set in the application or follow ups stages or an administrator abandoning the request would prevent the applicant from submitting a form from the corresponding stage. Toggling the universe to unavailable alone does not prevent applicants from submitting a form.
