A Duplicate Tax ID Warning Message can be configured to help prevent organizations from registering in a site more than once. If configured, the warning message appears if an applicant enters a Tax ID or EIN during registration that already exists in the site. The applicant can then contact a site administrator for assistance instead of creating a duplicate organization. The warning message does not prevent the applicant from completing registration, as they can close the message and continue.
