A request that is under consideration after being submitted will show the applicant a decision status of Undecided on the dashboard. You can set a delay time period after the decision date has passed to show whether the request has been approved or denied. You also have the option to show the amount awarded and installment information to applicants on their dashboard for their approved requests.
Show Decision Status Setting
When a request has been submitted and is under consideration, the applicant sees a decision status of Undecided on their dashboard.
Once a request has been approved or denied, the applicable decision status appears on the applicant’s dashboard after the preset delay time period has passed after the decision date.
- For example: If the decision status is set to a 15 day delay, an award approved on May 15 appears as Undecided until May 30, at which time the decision status updates to Approved.
- If the award was instead denied, the status of Denied would appear and the request would move to the Historic Requests tab after the delay time period passed.
- The delay can be set to 0 days, meaning the decision status is visible on the decision date.
Edit the Show Decision Status Setting
By default, the delay is set to 365 days, but it can be edited.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Click the pencil icon next to the Show Decision Status setting.
- Edit the number of days, and then click OK.
Award Details Link on Applicant Dashboard Setting
Amount awarded and installment information can be shown to applicants on their dashboard for any approved requests. When enabled, a View Details link is available to the applicant next to the approved request. This link becomes available once the delay period has passed after the decision date. The View Details link brings the applicant to the installment and payment information for the request.
Enable the Award Details Link on Applicant Dashboard Setting
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Click the pencil icon next to the Enables Details link on Applicant Dashboard setting.
- Select True or False, and then click OK.
