By default, when you assign a follow up form to an applicant, it's immediately visible on their dashboard. You have the option to turn on the Show Follow Ups with Decision Status setting. When turned on, the system will only show an applicant their assigned follow ups once the decision status is visible for their request. The timing of when the decision status and assigned follow ups become visible is controlled by the Show Decision Status setting.
A delay can be set for communication purposes on the Show Decision Status setting. This additional feature prevents an applicant from seeing any assigned follow ups before they have been communicated with.
Example Scenario
You have enabled Show Follow Ups with Decision Status setting, but a delay of 5 days has been set for Show Decision Status. You have just finished approving requests and assigned follow ups for each approved request. If an applicant logs in before the 5 days have passed, their dashboard will show a status of “Undecided” for their request and they will not see any assigned follow ups.
