Set Custom Grants Manager Permissions

Custom Grants Manager Permissions allows administrators to control what each grants manager can access and do within the site. Default permissions apply to all grants managers, and individual permissions can be set to override the defaults for a specific user. Grants Manager Permissions Definitions contains details on the available permissions.

User Role: Administrator

Use Custom Grants Manager Permissions to:

• Adjust the default permission set that applies to all grants managers in the site.

• Override default permissions for a specific grants manager who needs a different level of access than the default.

Edit Default Grants Manager Permissions

To edit the default grants manager permissions for all grants managers in the site:

1. Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Users. 
2. Click the pencil icon next to Grants Manager in the list of roles. 

   • If this role has been renamed, click the pencil icon next to the role that corresponds to the grants manager role.

      
3. Click the Off/On toggles to turn each permission off or on for the grants manager role.
   • The system automatically saves the selections.
      

Edit Individual Grants Manager Permissions 

Permissions set for a specific grants manager will override the default permissions.

To edit permissions for an individual grants manager:

1. Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Users.
2. Enter the name of the grants manager, and then click Search.
    

3. Click the pencil icon next to the user's name in the search results.

    
4. Click the pencil icon next to Grants Manager. 

   • If this role has been renamed, click the pencil icon next to the role that corresponds to the grants manager role.

      
5. Click the Off/On toggles to turn each permission off or on for this user. 
   • There will also be a reminder for what the default is for each setting.
     • Example: Default (On).
   • The system automatically saves the selections.
