View Login History

Information is recorded each time a user logs into CommunitySuite. Login Log allows administrators to view real-time information and historical data related to each user login attempt. This historical data is used to notify users when they log in from a location they have not logged into before. Two views are available: one displaying all users login activity and the other displaying a specific user's login activity.

All Users' Login Activity

1. Navigate to the Users page and click Login Log in the left-side menu.
   • The Login Log will display the history of all user's login activity.
     
     
     

Specific User's Login Activity

1. Navigate to the Users page and click the ID of the user whose history will be viewed.
2. Click Login Log in the left-side menu.
   
   • The Login Log will display the history of the user's login activity.
     
     
     

Column Information

The list below provides further details about each column of information displayed in the Login Log. 

• Timestamp - The time of login. 
• User - The name of the user who logged in.
• IP Addr - The IP Address of the device used during login.
• Login - Indicates if the user successfully logged in.
• 2Factor - Indicates if the user who attempted to login has two-factor authentication enabled.
• Logout - Indicates if the user logged out.
• Lockedout - Indicates if the user was locked out of the system because of too many login attempts.
• Error Msg - Lists error messages that were displayed to the user such as invalid password, locked out, or expired password.
• Proxy - Indicates if a proxy login by an employee of Foundant Technologies was used. 
• Proxy Who - Name of the Foundant Technologies employee who accessed the site.
• Region - The state/province where the user was located at the time of login.
  • The system will use the location of the last five logins from the last six months to notify users in an email when a login is made from a new location.
• Country - The country where the user was located at the time of login.
• ISP - The internet service provider of the user at time of login.
• Lat - Latitude of login location.
• Long - Longitude of login location.
