Campaign Categories (Sandbox Sites)

Each campaign must be assigned to a category. Categories are a user-defined field; there are no default categories. They are essentially a folder or organizational structure for campaigns. You can categorize campaigns by the type you assign to them. The category name will be the browser tab name when someone uses the online event registration.

Create Campaign Category

1. Navigate to the Campaigns page.
2. Click List Categories in the left-side menu.
3. Click Create Category in the left-side menu.
4. Add the applicable Create Campaign Category information, and then click Create.
   

Click List Categories in the left-side menu to see a complete list of categories that have been created.

Click List in the left-side menu to see a list of assigned campaigns by category.

Edit Campaign Category

1. Navigate to the Campaigns page.
2. Click List Categories in the left-side menu.
3. Click the ID of the Campaign Category to be edited. 
   
   
   
4. Click Edit in the left-side menu.
5. Complete the edits, and then click Save. 
   • If the Category Name is changed, then this will change the category name for all campaigns previously assigned to this group.
   • Check the Inactive box to retain this category and remove the ability to add additional campaigns to it.
     

Delete Campaign Category

A campaign category cannot be deleted if it has campaigns added to it. Campaigns should be moved to another category prior to deleting a category.

1. Navigate to the Campaigns page.
2. Click List Categories in the left-side menu.
3. Click the ID of the Campaign Category to be deleted. 
   
   
   
4. Click Delete in the left-side menu.
5. Click [Yes].
