Donations, invoices, and vouchers can all be linked to campaigns.
When tickets are sold, donations and invoices are automatically connected to the campaign.
Manually Connect Transaction to Campaign
When an online donation, not a ticket sale, is made or a donation is processed manually, it will not automatically be connected to a campaign.
Connect a Donation
Posted donations can be added to a campaign.
- Navigate to the donation record.
- Click [add] next to the Campaign field.
- Click the appropriate campaign name from the list of non-archived campaigns.
A donation can also be connected to a campaign while the donation is being created. Click the Campaign field and select a campaign from the drop-down menu.
Connect an Invoice, Voucher, Pledge, or Promise
Invoices, vouchers, pledges, and promises can be connected to a campaign after they are created.
- Navigate to an invoice, voucher, pledge, or promise record.
- Click [add] in the Campaign column.
- Click the appropriate campaign name from the list of non-archived campaigns.
Invoices can be linked to a campaign before or after they are posted. Vouchers can only be linked to a campaign before they are posted.
Campaign Financial Reports
- Navigate to a campaign that has transactions linked to it.
- Click Donations, Pledges, Invoices, or Income Statement in the left-side menu.
- Donations - Lists all donations linked to the campaign.
- This includes donations that were manually linked to the campaign and the charitable portion of ticket sales.
- Pledges - Lists all pledges linked to the campaign.
- Invoices - Lists all invoices linked to the campaign.
- This includes invoices that were manually linked to the campaign and the non-charitable portion of ticket sales.
- Income Statement - Lists all revenue and expenses linked to the campaign. Also lists any pledges that have been linked to the campaign.
- Donations - Lists all donations linked to the campaign.
