Universal Application: Edit the Application

The application stage of a universe contains all questions that applicants may complete when applying for scholarships. Edit the application form to update question labels, modify eligibility rules, or add supplemental questions for specific opportunities.

When to Edit the Application:

Edit the application to:

• Update question labels for clarity (e.g., changing "GPA" to "Cumulative GPA")
• Add instructions to help applicants answer questions correctly
• Add new questions to collect additional applicant information

Edit an Application

To edit an application within a universe, navigate to the Application tab, click the pencil icon, and make the necessary edits. 

1. Navigate to the Process Manager page.
2. Click the name of the universe to be edited.
    
3. Click the Application tab.
    
4. Click the pencil icon next to the application.
    
   • Click the pencil icon next to the question to change the question label.
      
     • The ability to change question labels is possible without impact as long as the same type of information is being collected.
     • For example, a GPA question label can be changed to Cumulative GPA.
