The Requests & Decisions page allows you to locate any grant or scholarship request in your Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) or Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) site. From the search results, you can access a particular request or perform batch actions on multiple requests.
- To access this page, click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Requests & Decisions.
New Request Search Page
The Request Search page is a new page that is replacing the Requests & Decisions page. It allows you to search your site with search criteria such as project name, applicant's name, and request status. The columns that appear on the page can be customized, reordered, and filtered. Manual requests can also be entered directly from the Request Search page.
Those with an Advanced license will also be able to create their own Saved views, which include the selected columns, order, sizing, and applied filters.
To enable the New Request Search on a per-user basis:
- From the Requests & Decisions page, click the Try the new Request Search toggle.

Users can enter search criteria in the different columns to filter the results down. The Columns panel displays the columns that are active on the page. Columns can be added or removed using this panel.
- Click Clear Filters or Reset Layout to remove filters and any column customizations and return to the default view.
Add a Manual Request
The Add Request option on the Request Search page allows you to complete manual grant entry without needing to locate the user or organization record first.
To add a manual request:
- Click Add Request.
- Add the applicable Create Request information, and then click Continue.
- Complete the first form for the request, which is either the LOI or application form.
Manage Columns
The Columns panel allows you to customize the columns that appear on the page, and the Manage Columns options allows you to choose additional fields to be added to the available fields in the Columns panel. Columns can be sourced from Application, Approval, Denial, Organization, and Contact records.
To make custom columns available using Manage Columns:
- Click Columns.
- Click Manage Columns.
- Select a field from the left panel to make it an available custom column.
- The All sources and All processes drop-down menus can be used to filter down the list of fields.
- Fields will appear in the right panel as they are selected.
- Click the Show Defaults box to view the default columns.
- Click Save Columns.
The fields will now be available in the Columns panel.
Process Filter
Searching can be narrowed down by process using the process filter. The process filter allows you to search through specific processes, as well as archived processes.
- Click the Process filter.
- Check the box for each process to include in the search, and then click Save.

- Click the Process filter to clear the selected processes.
- Click Reset, and then click Save.
Actions on the Request Search Page
Multiple actions can be taken with the search results on this page.
- In a GLM site, click an Organization Name to access the Organization Summary page.
- Click an Applicant Name to access the User Summary page.
- Click a Project Name to access the Request Summary page.
- Select multiple requests and click Batch Actions to perform the following:
- Generate merge documents.
- Send an email to the applicants.
- Perform a quick export of the selected requests.
- Send the selected requests to CommunitySuite, if using the integration with CommunitySuite.

Search on the Requests & Decisions Page
Search criteria such as the project name, applicant's name, and request status are available on this page. Depending upon the request statuses selected, different date filter options will appear.
For example, if the denied status is selected, results can be filtered by the initial application submission date or the decision date according to the date range entered in the Show Data on or After and Show Data on or Before fields.
- Click Reset to clear the current search criteria.
- Toggle Auto Search on to make the current search criteria the default when navigating to this page. Additional details on this feature are available in Auto Search on Requests and Decisions Page.
Process Filter
Searching can be narrowed down by process using the process filter. The process filter allows you to search through specific processes, as well as archived processes.
- Click the Process filter.
- Check the box for each process to include in the search, and then click Save.
- Click the Process filter to clear the selected processes.
- Click Reset, and then click Save.
- Click the Process filter to clear the selected processes.
