The Request Summary page houses all information related to a specific request in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) or Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM). Access the Request Summary page by clicking a request's project name from the Dashboard, Requests and Decisions page, Organization Summary page, User Summary page, or the header search bar.
User Role: Administrators, grants managers, and staff evaluators managing grant or scholarship requests throughout the review and approval process often view the Request Summary page.
Use the Request Summary page to:
- Review all forms submitted by an applicant as a request moves through the process stages.
- Track request status changes and submission history to understand the progression of an application.
- Access and manage award details including installment amounts, payment schedules, and approval information.
- Upload supporting documents such as decisions letters, site visit notes, and proposal summaries specific to the request.
- Generate merge documents for communication with applicants or for internal reporting.
- View applicant contact information and email history to track all communications related to the request.
Access a Request Summary Page
To access the Request Summary page in GLM or SLM, click the request's project name from any location where it appears.
Access via Workload Page
To access a Request Summary page from the Dashboard workload page, follow the steps below.
- From the Dashboard, click the workload page that contains the request.
- Click the request project name.
Access via Requests & Decisions Page
Use the Requests and Decisions search feature to locate and access a specific Request Summary page.
- Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Requests & Decisions.
- Enter search criteria, such as the project name, and then click Search.
- Click the request project name.
Access via Organization Summary Page
When viewing an organization's profile, navigate to the Request Summary page for any of the organization's requests.
- Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Organizations.
- Enter search criteria, such as the name of the organization to which the request belongs, and then click Search.
- Click the organization name.
- Click the Requests page.
- Click the request project name.
Access via User Summary Page
Access the Request Summary page directly from an applicant's User Summary page.
- Click Search on the upper navigation bar, and then click Users.
- Enter search criteria, such as the first and last name of the user to whom the request belongs, and then click Search.
- Click the user's last name.
- Click the Requests page.
- Click the request project name.
Access via Header Search
The header search bar provides quick access to any Request Summary page in your site.
- Click into the Search Bar in the upper navigation bar.
- Enter search criteria, and then click the request name.
Contact Info Tab
The Contact Info tab on the Request Summary page reflects the name and contact information of the applicant as provided by the applicant during the registration process.
- The Contact Info tab may include the applicant's name, email address, phone number, and home address.
- In a GLM site, the applicant's organization information appears alongside their personal information.
- The Contact Email History link can be used to find emails sent to that applicant specifically.
- In a GLM site, the Organization Email History link can be used to find emails sent to any applicant within the organization to whom the request belongs.
Request Tab
The Request tab on the Request Summary page reflects information related to the status of the request and any changes previously made to the request.
- The Current Status area reflects all forms that have been completed as the request moves through a process.
- In a GLM site, the Request Email History log lists all emails sent to any of the organization’s contacts related to the request.
- In an SLM site, the Request Email History log lists all emails sent to the applicant related to the request.
- The Request History records changes that occur as the request moves through the stages of a process.
- The Submission History tracks the date, previous status, who changed the request or submitted it, and the name of the form that was last submitted.
- The Advanced Options section houses three features.
- The first allows an administrator to revert the status of a request, moving it back to its previous status.
- The second, available only in a GLM site, allows an administrator to reassign the request to a different user within the organization if needed.
- The third, available only in a GLM site, allows an administrator to reassign the request to a different organization.
Award Details Tab
The Award Details tab on the Request Summary page contains approval information including installment amounts, balances, and due dates.
- This tab allows easy access to decision information where installments and payments can be added and edited. Approval details can also be edited.
- Approval information can be added prior to approving a request.
Follow Ups Tab
Once a request is approved, the Follow Ups tab is added to the Request Summary page.
- From this tab, existing follow up assignments can be edited, deleted, or reviewed, and new follow ups can be assigned.
Documents Tab
Within the Documents tab on the Request Summary page, documents specifically associated with the request such as decision letters, site visit notes, and proposal summaries can be uploaded.
Comments Tab
Within the Comments tab on the Request Summary page, notes and comments specifically about the request can be recorded.
- Decision comments can be made when a request is either approved or denied.
- Other comments can be made regardless of the current status of the request.
Related Requests (SLM)
The Related Requests tab on the Request Summary page in Universal Application shows the opportunities for which the applicant is eligible that are tied to the common application, the status of the request, and the amount awarded if applicable. The Amount Awarded column will show when a request has the Approved status and the Show Decision Status setting value has been met. When viewing a Universal Application follow up, the Related Requests tab will be the default tab opened.
Charity Check by Candid Tab (GLM)
The Charity Check by Candid tab on the Request Summary page reflects the most recently run charity check summary as well as the option to View Charity Check Log. The log contains all of the dates and times when charity checks have been run for the organization.
Additional Options
Two additional buttons are available to administrators at the top of the Request Summary page.
- Click Assign Users to assign a grants manager to the request.
- Click Create Documents to generate a merge document for the request.
