Grant requests can be synced from Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) to CommunitySuite individually or in batch. A grant request must have an approved status in GLM before it can be synced and cannot have any payments recorded in GLM.
Grant information in GLM populates fields in CommunitySuite once the grant is processed. Below is a reference for these fields with the GLM field listed first and the corresponding CommunitySuite field listed second.
- Project Name = Description
- Decision Date = Decision Date
- This field is typically used as the date the grant was approved after evaluation, but any date that is helpful for the organization can be used. This field can be edited in GLM and CommunitySuite.
- Grant Date = Grant Date
- The date of the General Ledger transaction or posting date. The grant date has to be in an open financial period in CommunitySuite, meaning the books cannot be closed. This field cannot be edited in GLM once the request is synced, but it can be updated in CommunitySuite.
- Organization = Grantee
- Amount Awarded = Grant Amount
- Installment Date = Payment Date
- Installment Amount = Payment Amount
- Payment Date = Check Date
