Import Profiles and Profile Relationships

Do you have profiles data in another system? Have you acquired some regional data? Perhaps someone hosted a community event and provided you a list of attendees that are not in CommunitySuite. You can import a spreadsheet of profiles vs. creating the profiles one at a time.

1. Navigate to the Profiles page and click Import in the left-side menu.
2. Click [Download Template].
   
   • The template will download as a .csv file.
     
     
     
3. Open the template, enter the profile information for each profile, and then save the template to your computer.
   • Instructions for how to fill out the template are available on the import page.
   • The file must be saved as .csv format.
4. Click Choose File.
   
   
   
5. Select the .csv file from your computer.
6. Click Process.
   

Processing a file will create a background job. 

Import Profile Relationships

Relationships can be imported in bulk for profiles that already exist in the system. The Profile Create permission is required for this task.

1. Navigate to the Profiles page and click Import Relationships in the left-side menu.
2. Click [Download Template].
   • The template will download as a .csv file.
     
     
3. Open the template, enter the profile relationship information for each profile, and then save the template to your computer.
   • Instructions for how to fill out the template are available on the import page.
   • The file must be saved as .csv format.
4. Click Choose File.
   
   
   
5. Select the .csv file from your computer.
6. Click Process.
   
   
   

Processing a file will create a background job.
