Access and interaction with Customers can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page.
- Navigate to the Customers page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click [Show Advanced].
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.
Permissions List
| Detailed Area | Description |
| Add File | Permits the user to add a file. |
| Content | Permits the user to edit custom content. |
| Create | Permits the user to make any profile a customer from a specific profile screen. Create on the left menu of the customer page is associated to profile permissions. It also allows the user to attach files to a customer designation record. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete the customer designation record but will not delete the associated profile. |
| Display | Permits the user to view a specific customer designation record and view the balance statement in the left-side menu. |
| Edit | Permits the user to edit a specific customer designation record. Edit access for profiles is associated to profile permissions. |
| Permits the user to access the email screen from the left-side menu of a specific customer designation record. | |
| List | Permits the user to go to the customer page and enter a search. Customer list and customer create from the left customer menu are associated to profile list permissions not customer list permissions. This list permission applies when on a customer designation record and the list menu appears on the left menu which returns to the profile list menu. |
| Settings | This setting has moved to the Portal Options page > Portal Settings. |
