Access and interaction with Donations can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page.
- Navigate to the Donations page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click [Show Advanced].
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.

| Add File | Permits the user to add a file. |
| Content | Permits the user to edit custom content. |
| Create | Permits the user to create a donation, import donations, export donations, attach support to a specific donation, add recurring donation, add pledge. Several of these fields are also present on the Donor page as well. |
| Dashboard | Permits the user to access the donations dashboard. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete a donation. |
| Display | Permits the user to drill into specific donations. Permits print envelope, change donor, link pledges, link opportunities, and edit address. Required in order to access the memorial honor, memorial memory, tax receipt, and yearly tax receipt template field list. |
| Edit | Permits the user to edit a specific unposted donation and make anonymous. Permits the user to email regarding recurring gifts. |
| Edit Historical | Permits the user to edit historical donation from the Donor page. |
| Historical Donation | Permits the user to see historical donations from the Donor page. |
| Link Campaign | Permits the user to link donation to a campaign. |
| Link Opportunity | Permits the user to link donation to a opportunity. |
| Link Pledge | Permits the user to link donation to a pledge. |
| List | Permits the user to access the Donations page, list imports, receipts, recurring, and filter reports. |
| Log | Permits the user to view the log for a specific donation. |
| Post | Permits the user to post a donation. |
| Public Securities | Permits the user to add securities to an unposted gift. |
| Review | Permits the user to add a review step on new donations. |
| Settings | Permits the user to enable settings specific to this area. |
