Access and interaction with Grantees can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page. Grantee permissions control user access to the Grantees page and its features in CommunitySuite.
Who: Administrators and organization staff who manage user access to the Grantees page.
Configure Grantee Permissions
To configure grantee permissions:
- Navigate to the Grantees page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click Show Advanced.
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.

Below are descriptions of the permissions available on the Grantees page in CommunitySuite.

| Add File | Permits the user to add a file to a grantee record. |
| Manual Charity Review | Permits the user to manually override the charity check or due diligence during grants processing. |
| Content | Permits the user to edit custom content. |
| Create | Permits the user to create a grantee from the profile screen and attach files to the grantee records. |
| Dashboard | Permits the user to access the grantees dashboard. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete the grantee designation for a specific grantee. Only appears if the record is not associated as a grantee in a transaction. If grantee designation is deleted, profile is still intact due to profile permissions. |
| Display | Permits the user to drill into specific grantee records. |
| Edit | Permits the user to edit a specific grantee designation record by updating whether charity check status check is required, updating last charity check status, last financial date, and public requests. |
| Permits the user to email the grantee. | |
| Financials and Compliance | Permits the user access to the Financials and Compliance page of a grantee record. Only users with this permission can run due diligence. |
| Funds | This permission has no function at this time. |
| List | Permits the user to move from a specific grantee record to the grantee search page which then defers to profile permissions. |
| Log | Permits the user to view logs for a given grantee record. |
| Merge | Permits the user to merge several grantee records. |
| Settings | This setting has moved to the Portal Options page > Portal Settings. |
