Access and interaction with Payments can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page.
- Navigate to the Payments page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click [Show Advanced].
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.

| Detailed Area | Description |
| Add File | Permits the user to add a file to a payment record. |
| Apply to Invoice | Permits the user to apply invoice to payments. Creating invoices is covered in invoice permissions. |
| Apply to Payment | Permits the user to apply a payment to a donation record. |
| Change Method | Currently not able to change a payment method. |
| Create | Permits the user to create a new payment. The create option on the left menu of specific payments returns the user to the payments page as opposed to actually creating a new payment and falls under list permissions. Permits the user to print a payment. On a specific already created record this permission permits the user to create a new payment and auto populates the same profile as the profile currently displayed. Permits the user to attach files to specific payments. Permits user to create payment from specific invoices. Permits the user to buy a ticket related to a specific payment. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete specific payments. |
| Display | Permits the user to drill into specific open payments. |
| Edit Check Number | Permits the user to edit check number for a specific payment. |
| Edit Customer | Permits the user to edit the customer on a payment record. |
| List | Permits the user to access the payments page. Permits the user to access stripe transactions. |
