Access and interaction with Pledges/Promises can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page.
- Navigate to the Pledges/Promises page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click [Show Advanced].
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.
Permissions List
| Detailed Area | Description |
| Add File | Permits the user to add a file to a pledge. |
| Content | Permits the user to edit custom pledge/promise content. |
| Create | Permits the user to view the create page for a pledge/promise. Users can enter information into the fields but will need the Manage Pledge or Manage Promise permissions to process the pledge/promise. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete a specific pledge. |
| Display | Permits the user to drill into specific pledges and print. Permits the user to create a payment document. Required in order to access the pledge payment and promise payment template field list. |
| Edit | Permits the user to edit pledge and promise payment schedules. Permits the user to modify pledge description and amount prior to posting. Permits the user to link donation and to make anonymous. Does not permit users to post or unpost pledge/promise. |
| List | Permits the user to access the pledge page. |
| Manage Pledge | Permits the user to create, post, unpost, and cancel a pledge. Also allows user to link donations to the pledge record. |
| Post | Permits the user to post pledges and cancel posted pledges. This is a separate permission from deleting pledges. |
| Manage Promise | Permits the user to create, commit, uncommit, and cancel a promise. Also allows user to link donations to the promise record. |
