Access and interaction with Profiles can be controlled by broad permissions and permissions specific to the page. Profile permissions control user access to the Profiles page and its features in CommunitySuite.
Who: Administrators and organization staff who manage user access to the Profiles page.
Configure Profile Permissions
To configure profile permissions:
- Navigate to the Profiles page and click Permission in the left-side menu.
- Click Show Advanced.
- Make applicable changes, and then click Save.

Below are descriptions of the permissions available on the Profiles page in CommunitySuite.

| ACH Edit | Permits the user to edit ACH profile information. This must be enabled by Support. |
| Add File | Permits the user to add a file to a profile. |
| View Anonymous | Permits the user to view full profile of anonymous profiles. If this permission is not selected, the user can only view the profile id, legacy code, anonymous status, and profile designations for anonymous profiles. This also limits visibility of designation records like donor and vendor designation records. This also allows a user to filter on report notes. |
| Bulk Delete | Permits the user to bulk delete profiles. |
| Bulk Update | Permits the user to bulk edit profiles. |
| Clear SSN | Permits the user to remove a SSN from a profile. |
| Content | Permits the user to edit custom content. |
| Create | Permits the user to create, copy, and upload profiles. |
| Dashboard | Permits the users to access the profiles dashboard. |
| Delete | Permits the user to delete a profile. |
| Display | Permits the user to drill into specific profile records. |
| Display SSN | Permits the user to see the SSN. |
| Manage Duplicates | Permits the user to manage duplicates. |
| Edit | Permits the user to edit specific profiles. |
| Import | Permits the user to import profiles. |
| List | Permits the user to access the Profiles page. Permits the user to print list, search, search emails, search phone, list by date, browse, duplicates, export all, export names, export emails, and export notes. On the List Profiles page, permits the user to add filters reverse filters, add to campaigns, remove from campaigns, add to profile type, delete from profile type, add to engagement strategy, delete from engagement strategy, create opportunities, add org role, add to grant type, delete from grant type, add steward, remove steward, email yearly tax receipt, print yearly tax receipt. Many of these options require at least one list filter to view the selected menu. Permits the user to view lists within many of the profile left-side menu options. |
| Log | Permits the user to access the log related to a specific profile. |
| Manage Login Info/Login As | Permits the user to log in to the Portal as a fund advisor or other profile designation. |
| Login as Another User | Permits the user to manage login information such as setting or updating passwords and allows the user to log in as another user. Must have Manage Login Info/Login As permission also. |
| Merge | Permits the user to merge profiles. |
| Org Role | Permits the user to access org roles, add org roles, and add profile links. |
| Profile Type | Permits the user to access profile types, add type, add fund cat, add address type, add engagement strategy, and add gender. |

| Delete Profile Type | Permits the user to delete a profile type. |
